Description
It actually started out as a sketch of a cougar, but I decided it was meant for greater and better things when I was watcing some show about prehistoric mammals. I did a stippling mainly because I wanted a long-term project. I didn't notice I was developing the head more though.. Ah well. Smilodon, the Sabertoothed cat.

no offense (its very good) but its front canines should be about as long as it whole bottom jaw structure. so its really is more of a cougar than anything. i only know this because im a bit of a collector of skulls and i have a smilodon fatalis cast. (direct replica)
